What will I learn from taking the Primordial Sound Meditation Course?

You will come away from the course having not only learned a valuable meditation technique developed by Dr. Chopra, but also how to successfully integrate the practice into your daily life and routine. You will have the opportunity to meet  with others who have also taken the course as we meditate together in a group.

The Primordial Sound Meditation Program Includes:

  • Your personal mantra
  • Personal Instruction
  • Practice sessions
  • Course materials
  • In-depth education: how it works, benefits, history & selection process
  • Learning about the practical aspects: learning the 'when, where and why' , 'do's and don'ts. 
  • Integrating a practice of meditation into your own daily routine
  • Exploration of higher states of consciousness 

Sessions broken down:

Session I : An introduction discussing the various types of meditation, reasons why we meditate, and an in depth look at the Primordial Sound Technique.

Session II: In this session you will receive your personal mantra and have your first 30 minute meditation with that mantra.  We ask that you schedule your other activities for the day mindfully. (i.e. don't find yourself shopping under the fluourescents of Walmart after our session.  Instead, stay as present as you can with yourself and nature, be gentle on yourself etc.)

Session III: Many think the biggest challenge in meditation is just quieting the thoughts, but often the most challenging aspect is incorporating the practice of meditation into your personal routine.  In this session we discuss how to overcome the challenges, frustrations and distractions we face when settling the mind, as well as techniques on successfully integrating a meditation practice into your daily life.  We end with a 30 minute meditation.

Session IV: Higher States of Consciousness. We explore the incredible "awakening" experiences we have as a result of practicing this technique of meditation. In this session you will also learn exercises to heighten your awareness, techniques on living in mindfulness and recognizing the Divinity in everything.

Session V:  This session is optional and can be scheduled immediately following the other sessions or even a month or two down the road.  You will begin to notice the intensity of your meditations when done with another individual who meditates regularly.  This session is to not only strengthen your existing practice but to provide you with your choice from the advanced material, including advanced techniques involving the heart sutras.
